Let me set the scene for this weekend.
Saturday is beautiful, warmer, but add a stronger breeze especially in the Saginaw Bay area (Bay City).
While the fireworks tomorrow are a huge deal, the breeze should calm down a bit ahead of them but should still remain.
The night will be clear again and a bit warmer so it's a trade off.
Sunday evening a chance for rain returns but very slight as the system has slowed down.
Monday through Tuesday bring the chance for showers and storms.
Storms could be a little strong and while I am mainly looking at Tuesday as a day we could possibly have a small severe threat, I don't want to rule Monday out just yet.
The main reason for anything firing Monday will be timing and how the storms can utilize daytime heating.
Tuesday is more focused on the dynamics of the system so while daytime heating would of course help, it isn't a necessary requirement to get storms to pop this time around.
Still far out to say for sure on the extent of storms so we're in the "keeping our eyes on it" phase.
Beyond Tuesday the shower chances begin to fade and wow do we heat up by the end of the week.
Back to the mid 80's with plenty of sunshine by next Friday.
