Billions of dollars in government waste continues to pile up in Washington.
The Golden Hammer Award, recognizing government waste, marks its one year anniversary in its current form.
Over the past year, all of the waste we have identified, along with our investigative news partners at The Washington Times, adds up to more than 73 billion dollars.
"It's important to keep an eye on the wasteful spending that the government does because its taxpayer money. It??s money that you paid," said Phillip Swarts with the Washington Times.
