Wind Chill Advisory issued; temperatures with chill could be 25 below zero

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for tonight into tomorrow afternoon for virtually the entire NBC25 viewing area.

Temperatures, said the service, will drop to between 2 and 8 degrees below zero. Winds from the west will cause wind chills between 15 and 25 below zero.

These low temperatures are expected to stay throughout the day on Friday.

The counties under the advisory are: Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee, and Monroe.

The advisory runs from 8 tonight until 4 Friday afternoon.
