The National Weather Service has issued a WIND CHILL WARNING for the entire viewing area until 7 am Wednesday.
Wind chills are forecast to drop into the -15 to -25 range today as winds gust over 30 mph and temperatures fall closer to 0 later this afternoon.
Low temperatures tonight are expected to fall to around -5 to the north, to -11 to the south.
Wind chills are then forecast to drop into the -30 range, with some dropping into the -40 range, especially along and south of I-69. Frostbite and hypothermia are major concerns for anyone out in the cold for more than 5 to 15 minutes. Cover all exposed skin, dress in layers, keep clothing dry, and try to avoid going outside if you can.
