Wolf rallies planned in Flint, 10 other MI cities

The back and forth battle between pro-wolf activists and people who want to hunt them, is coming to the people this weekend.

Keep Michigan Wolves Protected is rallying around the state to launch a 2nd referendum campaign to overturn PA 21. It allowed the Natural Resources Commission to circumvented their first referendum and name the wolf a game species. The NRC has established a hunting season and 43 wolves are expected to be killed this fall. The Michigan United Conservation Clubs is spearheading the hunt.

To try to stop it, organizers will be collecting signatures once again. They've scedualed rallies oall over the state including one in Flint on Saturday.
