Saginaw Police are investigating the city's ninth homicide after a woman was found dead inside a car outside a home at 1810 Boxwood Thursday.
Police responded around 11:30 Thursday morning.
They say the victim was in her 20's and was shot.
Officials are not releasing the woman's identity but family members say the victim is Kia Frierson.
"A bright, young lady always tried to work have a job. Always. Tried to have something in life very positive, too young to die," says family friend, Dawne Lee.
Family members say the young woman was also expecting a baby this September.
