New nail bar opens in downtown Flint giving residents new opportunities
FLINT, MICH-- Eight Ten Nail Bar just opened its doors in downtown Flint.
It's owner say she's hoping to bring something fresh and new to her hometown.
"I was visiting Detroit and saw a nail bar. I thought this would be amazing for the people in Flint," said Natalie Kadie.
Kadie has been doing nails for nearly two decades and this is her first solo venture.
With the help of her husband Alex, they hope to expand the brand beyond the city limits.
Right now they are focused on networking with other local businesses downtown and making sure their customers have the best experience.
"It's more than just nails, there will be waxing, you can relax, grab coffee. We want it to be a whole experience," said Kadie.
We spoke to clients and nearby businesses who say they believe Eight Ten Nail Bar will keep people downtown longer and bring more money into the city during its revitalization.
"I'm excited. People will smell the food next door and visit us too. We can collaborate on events," said Table and Tap cook, Jarees Wiburn.
If you would like to book an appointment or apply to be Eight Ten Nail Bar's next licensed nail technician you can call 810-422-9568.
