Tamale Dinner to benefit Hurricane Maria victims
Flint, Michigan-- The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Flint is partnering with the Hispanic Technology Center if Greater Flint to put on a Tamale Dinner Fundraiser for victims of Hurricane Maria.
The event will take place at six p.m. on Thursday at the church located at 2474 S. Ballenger Hwy in Flint. Dinner for adults will be $7, $5 for children and $10 with artwork and buttons included.
An hour later at the same location there will be a mini concert by the group Emma's Revolution out of California. They have visited Flint several times to support local activism.
