United Way of Bay County preps for annual Day of Caring


Bay City, Mich-- This Friday more than 80 volunteers will disperse across Bay City to do good in their community.

Day of Caring is hosted by the United Way of Bay County to inspire groups and individuals to give back.

Every year different projects are picked, this year volunteers will Beautify the grounds at Golden Horizons Adult Daycare and McGregor Elementary school, volunteers will also plant vegetables at United Way Community Garden that will then be given to local food shelters.

"Participating in Day of Caring promotes volunteerism and is a great way to give back and instill pride in your community," said Director of Volunteer Services, Jen Idelski.
