Kalamazoo sheriff stops for dinner and saves two lives
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A local sheriff stops for dinner and ended up saving two lives.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller stopped for dinner at Qdoba on West Main Street before the Kalamazoo County Commission meeting Tuesday.
While he was eating, deputies said two people passed out in the parking lot from an apparent drug overdose.
According to Undersheriff James Vandyken, Sheriff Fuller sprang into action and saved both people.
The two men, ages 23 and 28, were taken to the hospital but are expected to recover.
