Positivity Project teaches kids worth of others, selves
GRAND BLANC, Mich. —
Encouraging positivity, and inspiring kids to tap into their own inner strengths.
It's called the Positivity Project.
Thursday in Grand Blanc, staff at the high school and elementary aged kids at Indian Hill taking part in this special program.
The goal is to teach kids early on that other people matter.
It may sound simple, but the program helps kids better understand themselves, so they can understand others.
"Character is 24 different strengths and our whole focus here is to partner with schools to empower the teachers to talk to and to teach those students about each of those 24 character strengths," said Mike Erwin of the project.
The Positvity Project is a national program that travels to schools across the country.
