On a day where Trey Burke was named the AP National Player of the Year, the Wolverines get ready to take on the Syracuse Orange in Michigan's first Final Four since 1993.
And it's been a whirlwind ride. NBC 25 caught up with John Beilein during Michigan's last home practice before leaving for Atlanta, and he said it took a couple of days for this to sink in.
"After a loss you wake up and you know something bad happened, but you're not sure for two or three seconds, and then you realize that you lost the night before. I woke up (Tuesday) morning and got out of bed and I said 'I feel good.' And then I sorta said 'Are we still going to the Final Four? Is this true?' And she said 'Yes we are.' There was a moment there I realized it happened."
