Loons Opening Day postponed due to inclement weather

The Great Lakes Loons were supposed to begin the 2017 seaosn on Thursday but inclement weather has forced officials to move the game to Friday as part of a double-header.

To baseball players, Mother Nature is a fickle mistress and thanks to some nasty weather, the Great Lakes Loons opening day has been postponed. Wind, and freezing rain made playing the game impossible. The game will be made up on Friday as part of a doubleheader. The Midwest League Championship celebration has been rescheduled for Saturday May 6th. Tomorr'w's double header will begin at 4:00.
