Despite the fact that Calvin Johnson is by far the league's best wide receiver, the man known as Megatron, doesn't have an oversized ego.
Johnson has the respect of his coach and teammates, because of his work ethic.
"There's a stereotype of diva wide receivers, and Calvin breaks a lot of stereotypes," says Lions Head Coach Jim Schwartz. "6'5" guys are not supposed to be able to run that fast, and 240-pound guys aren't supposed to have the agility that he has, and things like that."
"The guys just works. It's no surprise. If you watch him at practice, the man just works his butt off as hard as anybody," said Dominic Raiola, Lions Center.
The Lions have their first preseason contest August 9th at home vs the New York Jets.
