In an effort to produce more goals, the Saginaw Spirit have traded for Blake Clarke, formerly of North Bay, in exchange for Zach Bratina.
Clarke, a St. Louis-native, was named to the OHL All-Rookie Second Team last season.
In 89 games, Clarke has netted 20 goals and 34 assists. Clarke is eligible to join the Spirit for Sunday??s outdoor game at Comerica Park in Detroit.
As for Bratina, his stay in Saginaw was short lived. The forward was traded to the Spirit in January from Plymouth, recording seven goals and 13 assists in 43 games.
