Three players from the Saginaw Spirit found new NHL homes.
Jimmy Lodge, Nick Moutrey and Eric Locke were all selected in the NHL Draft Sunday in Newark, NJ.
Lodge, a forward, was taken in the 3rd round by the Winnipeg Jets at 84th overall.
Moutrey found himself waiting unitl the 4th round before hearing his name called. The center was selected 105th by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
As for last year's captain, Eric Locke, he had the longest wait. Locke wasn't selected by the Buffalo Sabres until the 7th and final round of Sunday's draft, where he went at the 189th overall selection.
Last season, these three helped the Spirit make the OHL playoffs before being swept by the London Knights.
