Tiger Woods?? former coach Hank Haney was at the Saginaw Country Club Thursday for the Great Lakes Bay Charity Pro-AM.
The event started in the morning as Haney drove around the course while offering suggestions to golfers. In the past, this event has raised $100,000. This year??s recipient of the donation is the Children??s Zoo in Saginaw.
Prior to the shot gun start this morning, Haney hosted a golf clinic for participants to acquire further pointers to improve their game. Wednesday night, Haney spoke at a dinner detailing his experiences instructing the game of golf and dealing with the very best of the best in golf, such as Woods.
Additionally, Haney spoke about his new book, ??The Big Miss ?? My Years Coaching Tigers Woods??. The book features a lot about Tiger??s encounters both on and off the course.
??The first week it was out on the [New York Times] best seller list; I'm very proud of it,?? Haney said. ??The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. It's a positive book talking about Tiger Woods and his greatness, but I also wanted to write an honest book as well. Having done that, I feel it is fair and honest and a book I'm proud of.??
