The Detroit Tigers own baseball's best record at 23-12, but they hadn't won a game when trailing after eight innings until Tuesday.
Miguel Cabrera launched a go-ahead, three-run homer with two out in the top of the ninth before Victor Martinez added a solo shot in Detroit's 4-1 comeback win over the Orioles. It was the second straight blown save for Tommy Hunter since converting 11 of his first 12 attempts.
Orioles starter Ubaldo Jimenez struck out seven while limiting the Tigers to three hits in seven innings. He is 3-0 with a 0.46 ERA this month.
