Watch: Byron's Erik Jones comes back for solid finish on Father's Day

It's Byron native Erik Jones first full season on the Monster Energy Series circuit, and while he's still searching for his first victory, he's put together some solid performances in the #77 5-hour ENERGY Toyota.

One of his best came on Sunday at the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. After falling to 34th at one point, Jones was in the top ten late in the race, finishing in 13th in his home state.

Competing on Father's Day, Jones admitted his late father Dave was on his mind at different points throughout the race.

As for the champion, Kyle Larson won for the second time at MIS. NASCAR returns to Michigan International Speedway in August for the Pure Michigan 400.
