Powers celebrates their second straight district title

Frankemnuthâ??s stout defense is what the talk was headed into the NBC25 Game of the Week against Powers Catholic.

Powers beat Frankenmuth 34-0, improving to 11-0 and capturing its second straight district title.

Saginaw Nouvel (9-2) avenged a 16-0 halftime deficit, knocking off Reese (10-1) in their Division Seven district final.

The defending state champions will head to Beecher in the regional final.

In Division Four, Saginaw Swan Valley (9-2) defeated Goodrich (8-3) 43-13.

The Vikings will play Croswell-Lexington in their regional final.
