Grand Blanc says they're a different team, ready for Carman Ainsworth

Grand Blanc and Carman Ainsworth will meet again in the post season. The Cavs won the regular season meeting 27-12.

Our NBC25 Game of the week is Grand Blanc at Carman Ainsworth this Friday.

Thursday, we caught up with the Bobcats as they prepared for their second meeting with the Cavaliers.

These two teams met in week one of the regular season, when Carman Ainsworth beat Grand Blanc 27-12.

In that contest, the Cavaliers amassed 420 yards of total offense.

That was then, this is now, said Bobcats Head Coach Joe Delaney.

He said since then, several juniors have stepped into starting roles, and his team is much more prepared for the Cavaliers' athleticism.

"The guys have come a long way, they've gotten better, they've improved," Delaney said. "Therefore they've taken over spots, so that will be different this time."

"We're a completely different team," Grand Blanc Center Tevon Blake said. "We've come so far since that first game, we've worked hard and come more compatible with each other."

"I think we played a little scared the first game and I think this time we have to come out with more confidence and emotion," Bobcats' Quarterback Bart Williams said.
