Hometown Hoops Full Show: Fantastic finishes highlight snowy Friday night
In our Hometown Hoops Game of the Week, Arthur Hill and Saginaw boys played another classic, down to the wire battle. The Trojans led 39-33 at the half, holding off the Lumberjacks to win 73-69. Saginaw snapping the Lumberjacks six-game winning streak, the Trojans winning its eighth straight game over their rival.
The Dow and Midland boys played their own classic rivalry game, featuring an overtime buzzer beater Ben Zeitler, giving Dow the huge victory 59-58.
The Dow girls showed that they're starting to play their best basketball at the right time, beating the rival Chemics 52-33. It was a special night, as they raised funds to raise cancer awareness, both the coaches and players playing for loved ones as well.
The Freeland girls continued their strong play, dominating Swan Valley 68-27. They improve to 15-2.
The Freeland boys and Swan Valley boys battled as well, the Falcons coming out on top 63-54.
The St. Louis and MLS girls also had a close battle, the Sharks coming out on top 53-46 in overtime.
