“Money” is Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s nickname, so its apropos the Las Vegas boxer is set to make a historic amount of it Saturday night when he fights UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.

The Nevada Athletic Commission confirmed Mayweather will make a guaranteed $100 million purse, the highest guarantee ever paid to a fighter.

The commission said McGregor will earn a guaranteed purse of $30 million.

These amounts do not include what each fighter will make off their share of pay-per-view sales.

The current PPV record which Mayweather vs McGregor looks to surpass, was set by Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao in 2015.

As a result of the 4.6 million pay-per-views bought for that fight, Mayweather walked away with $250 million.

In addition to pay-per-view sales, Mayweather vs. McGregor looks to break the live gate record that Mayweather vs Pacquiao set of $72 million.

Las Vegas sportsbooks believe the amount of money bet on Mayweather vs McGregor in Nevada will break the record that Mayweather vs Pacquiao set of an estimated $60 million.
