SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich. --National Weather Service reports two tornadoes touched down in Shiawassee County.
At least 70 homes were damaged by a tornado that ripped through Shiawassee County on Thursday night, according to the Michigan State Police.
The tornado touched down at 6:54 p.m. near the Shoreline Lakes Condo Association, according to Shiawassee County Sheriff Brian Begole.
Sheriff Begole said that it was on the ground for at least 10 minutes.

In addition to homes being damaged, multiple power lines and trees are down.
A shelter has been opened at the Corunna Community Center.
