FLINT, Mich. – A letter was sent home to parents Friday in the Beecher Community School District about possible bed bug sightings at Dailey Elementary.

BCSD Superintendent, Marcus Davenport says two isolated reports of possible bed bug sightings were given to his office the week of Jan. 8.

A possible bed bug was found on the coat of a student and on the table in a particular room according the letter.

The school says it took immediate action to thoroughly disinfect the reported areas and contacted a local pest control company.

BCS said it will continue to use every available resources to ensure the health and safety of its students.
