Flint fire crews fought a fire at Washington Elementary school on Monday morning.

The call came in just after five in the morning.

Right now, officials on-scene haven't said what caused the fire.

Washington Elementary, located on Vernon Avenue near Pennsylvania Avenue, was closed several years ago. Fires at the abandoned building have been a problem in the past, with a fire having started in a classroom back in 2015.
