Crime Stoppers sees 200% increase in tips thanks to grant
FLINT, Mich. --Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County has seen more than a 200% increase in submitted tips, according to a news release.
The upswing in tips is credited to a grant from the Ruth Mott Foundation.
The grant focused on Flint’s northeast side.
The program was launched back in 2017, with two billboards being placed in high traffic areas in order to reach the most people.
