FLINT, Mich. -- The race for Michigan's next governor is heating up.

Democratic candidates convening in Flint for a "Meet the Candidate" forum. Bill Cobbs, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, Gretchen Whitmer, and Shri Thanedar were on hand to answer questions posed by Mid-Michigan residents.

Noticeably absent, attorney Geoffrey Fieger who has stated he's seriously considering a run for governor.

The main topics of discussion, education, jobs, and the ongoing water crisis.

With over a year until election day, there is still a lot of time for voters to get their questions answered before they have to decide on a candidate.
