Deputy subdues suspect with stun gun following break in, assault in Vassar Township

TUSCOLA COUNTY, Mich. --The Tuscola County Sheriff reports that a deputy used a Taser on a 56-year-old Millington man after he broke into a home and assaulted a woman in Vassar Township.

The break in and assault took place on Friday, Feb. 9 just before 10 a.m.

The victim called the sheriff’s office after the man started breaking through a glass door and entered her house.

Once inside, he started attacking the woman.

Upon arrival, a deputy deployed the stun gun, ending the assault.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The man was arrested on scene for multiple charges.
