Flint Children's Museum offering winter break fun
Many kids have the holiday week off of school.
And with presents unwrapped, that means some parents are trying to find ways to curb their kid's restlessness.
A local center is providing a fun and educational time to keep kids busy.
If parents are looking for a place to bring their kids during winter break, the Flint Children's Museum is the place to be.
Parents are probably ready to pull their hair out and it's only half way through winter break.
It can be hard to keep kids entertained and still thinking about education while on break, but the Flint Children's Museum is making it easier with experiments, critical thinking, and hands on exhibits.
Michael Porter, a parent says, "To have a children's museum to entertain these kids over the holiday is, I think it's a great thing ."
Kids can navigate Lego mazes, help make elephant tooth paste, and go through a variety of fun stations.
They're having fun and learning at the same time.
You can bring your kids out for the winter break program through December 31st for only 25 dollars.
On December 31st, the children's museum will be holding a "Noon" Year's Eve celebration with holiday accessories, snacks, and a ball drop for the kids.
