The Flint Community Schools report a student was approached by a stranger this morning while the student was walking to Freeman Elementary.

The stranger is described as a man, dressed in all black and appeared out of a four-door black car.

The stranger stopped following the child once he reached Ogema Avenue and never entered school grounds.

The school district says the student arrived safely to school and reported the incident to school administrators.

The Flint Police Department was contacted and are investigating.

The school district says children should walk in groups and be aware of their surroundings.
