GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Hundreds gathered to show their support for Ele's Place.

It's a center that helps grieving kids and their families across Genesee County.

The Third Annual Healing Hearts Society Breakfast for Ele's Place of Flint was held Thursday.

This is the organization's biggest fundraiser.

It was held this year at the Genesys Banquet Center.

The money raised will support their mission of providing peer support for children and teens who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

“Opportunity for our friends and people new to our organization to hear from several of our families and to hear from out program director and others about what impact we are making here in our community,” said managing director Amy Krug.

Ele's Place is hoping to raise money to expand their services in Flint and Genesee County.
