FLINT, Mich. -- Michigan State University College of Human Medicine's fourth-year medical students tore open sealed envelopes to learn their destinations as future physicians on Match Day.

We caught up with one very excited student after learning what is next for her.

Amanda Bernard said, "So I was pretty nervous just because I ended up ranking this program number two and for the past month since submitting my rank order list I wanted it to be number one so I guess fate has its way of working everything out."

A little over 30 students were matched with a hospital or clinic where they will continue their medical training in July.
