Meetings held for friends and family members of opioid addicts
BAY CITY, Mich. - In the wake of the opioid crisis here at home, there's now a place where people can get emotional help
It's called a Nar-Anon meeting, it's a national support group for family and friends of drug users.
There's a meeting almost everyday throughout Mid-Michigan
The meetings run similar to narcotics anonymous.
One organizer we spoke to says she started the group in Bay City to offer the same support she received at a Nar-Anon meeting for help with her son, who’s been an addict for three years.
