FLINT, Mich. --Erika Finley will be spending the next 15 to 40 years in prison following the death of her daughter, Kimora.
Finley went in front of a judge who swore out that sentence on Wednesday.
Authorities say Kimora was killed in 2015, but Finley continued to collect the child's welfare benefits.
Finley pled guilty to seven felonies back in July, according to court records.
Kimora’s father, Khairy Simon, will be spending the next 12 to 40 years in prison in connection to his daughter’s death as well.
Simon pled guilty to second degree murder and removing a body without permission, according to court records.
