Police: Man in critical condition after being beaten with baseball bat in Flint

FLINT, Mich. -- ***UPDATE***

A man is in critical condition after being beaten with what police believed to be a baseball bat.

The incident happened around 2:20 p.m. Saturday at Davison Road Market.

Police say the suspect is a white male who drives a silver-colored Blazer.

Witnesses have been interviewed and the scene has since been processed.

A Davison Road Market employee tells our Sarah Jaeger that a victim was assaulted with a baseball bat Saturday afternoon.

The employee says they’ve seen both the suspect and the victim shopping in the store, and that the appeared to know each other.
