May is a busy time of year: weddings, graduations and the start of warm weather vacations. Because there's so much to do, financial professional Mindy McIntosh of McIntosh & Associates in Freeland said most people choose to give cash as a gift to a graduate. How much money is appropriate? She said $50 is typical if they are a member of your family, $25 otherwise.
