Remnants of sub-tropical storm Alberto likely to hit mid-Michigan
Sub-tropical storm Alberto will likely make an appearance in mid-Michigan this week.
Alberto had sustained winds of 65 mph over the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday evening.
The sub-tropical storm is expected to make landfall in the western Florida panhandle midday Monday.
Alberto will then move up the central part of the country and arrive near mid-Michigan by Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Heavy rain will be the biggest impact from Alberto in mid-Michigan, with very little wind expected.
The storm will pass fairly quickly, which means flooding is unlikely.
