Detroit Tigers’ Niko Goodrum to help Flint residents still dealing with water crisis

FLINT, Mich. --The Flint water crisis is far from over, but help for Flint residents continues to pour in.

That’s where Detroit Tigers’ Niko Goodrum comes in.

He’ll be coming to Flint on Monday, June 11 to hand out cases of water to families in need of clean water, according to an article on the team’s site.

Goodrum will be working alongside volunteers from the United Way of Genesee County and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.

The water drive is taking place at Bethel United Methodist Church and will begin at 10 a.m.
