SAGINAW, Mich. --In Saginaw, police officers took off the badges and picked up a basketball.

The first annual First Responders in the School Charity Basketball Game was held Saturday at Saginaw High.

Seniors from that school plus a few others, took on the men and women who put their lives on the line.

It was not only about fun but also to raise money.

we spoke with an organizer about what he hopes the children leave with after spending time with their local responders.

Dakota Security and WalMart helped sponsor the event.
