Strong winds expected for Friday
Strong winds are expected to last throughout the day Friday.
A Wind Advisory has been issued for a portion of the region including the Thumb, Tri-Cities, and the US-127 corridor until 10pm.
Sustained winds are expected to be in the 20-30 mph range throughout the day as a cold front rips through the region.
Wind gusts are likely to be much stronger, gusting to around 45 mph throughout a part of the day.
There is a chance for isolated wind gusts up to 50 mph.
