Tittabawassee River expected to reach 'moderate flood stage'

    MIDLAND COUNTY, Mich. -- The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Tittabawassee River from Midland downstream into Saginaw.

    The Tittabawassee River is expected to reach moderate flood stage, according to the National Weather Service.

    As of 9 a.m. the river has reached 20 feet and rising.

    Flood stage is 24 feet.

    The river is expected to crest at 27 feet by Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

    These levels will affect the roads that are typically closed when the river begin to flood which includes Emerson Park

    • Dublin Road at Tittabawassee Road
    • West St. Andrews Road
    • Currie Parkway
    • Pomranky Road and St. Charles Road

    Poseyville Road begins to flood around 25 feet, so please use caution in this area on Saturday.

    Do not drive around barricades.

    Do not drive through flood roads and streets.
