VASSAR, Mich. -- ***UPDATE***
Vassar Public Schools say that there was no gas leak found at the high school Tuesday.
However, students will not be allowed to go inside until Wednesday.
The high school was evacuated due to a possible gas leak earlier in the day on Tuesday.
Vassar High School was evacuated due to an unknown smell, according to a post on their Facebook page.
Students and staff were taken to Central Elementary.
Crews from Consumers Energy are investigating.
Students in grades 6 through 12 were released at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
All scheduled athletic games will go on as scheduled.
