Voters to decide Flint’s fate on Tuesday
FLINT, Mich. --Eighteen candidates will appear on the ballots of Flint voters this Tuesday.
With such a crowded race, it gives voters a lot to think about.
NBC25/FOX66’s Jasmyn Durham talked with several Flint residents to see how they plan to vote.
The mayoral recall was spearheaded by Flint resident Arthur Woodson after he collected more than 5,000 signatures.
He later announced that he too would run for the mayor’s race.
Several of the 18 candidates faced off in two mayoral debates last month addressing economic development, the water crisis and infrastructure.
The voters we spoke with have mixed opinions. Some say they're sticking with what they know, but others are calling for change.
However, there are others who are just undecided and unenthused.
The final decision is all up to the voters who head to the polls.
