FLINT, Mich. --Flint residents could get a free pizza this week.

It’s all thanks to a partnership between the Flint Fire Department and Domino’s Pizza.

They’ve teamed up for Fire Prevention Week, which began October 7, and ends on Saturday, October 13.

Anyone who orders a pizza from the Domino’s location at 2113 South Ballenger Highway on Friday, October 12 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. may be randomly selected to see if their smoke alarm works.

If the smoke alarms in the home are working, the pizza is free.

If the smoke alarms are not working, the firefighters will install fully-functioning alarms or replace the batteries.
