Claressa Shields' fan bus heads to Verona, NY for fight night

FLINT, Mich. -- Dozens met at Berston Field House in Flint on Friday, Jan. 12 to load a fan bus headed to Verona, New York.

Two-time Olympic Champion, Claressa Shields is facing off against 41-year-old Tori Nelson in her 5th pro fight.

"She's been working really hard. She's going to beat her down," said Claressa's sister, Angie Reed.

It will air at 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12 on Showtime. NBC25/FOX66 Sports Director, Tom Eschen will have live coverage 6, 10 and 11 p.m.
