Comedy show for a good cause in Saginaw
THOMAS TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A comedy show is coming to mid-Michigan on Saturday, April 14.
The Future of Comedy Show is partnering with Volunteers Assisting the Disabled to bring a night of laughs and help a great cause.
VAD is a non-profit devoted to raising enough money to help with services the Muscular Dystrophy Association can no longer provide.
Organizers say they work tirelessly to make a summer camp program, in southeastern Michigan, possible for those older than 18.
"A typical week at camp for 100 campers, plus their attendants and staff, costs VAD approximately $40,000," according to the organization.
The show will happen at Hill's Tavern at 7304 Gratiot Rd.
