Flint, Michigan-- The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan has partnered with the Michigan Department of Education and the USDA to make sure children have food all year around.

Hundreds of Meet Up and Eat Up summer food programs are happening in Mid-Michigan, one of them in Flint at The Bridge Church.

There is no registration or requirements, children can just come in and eat and participate in fun activities.

Kids will be provided supervision as well as two healthy and balanced meals by the caring staff.

"This means the world to me knowing that I can teach these kids about respect and giving back while having fun," said site supervisor, Debra Carriveau.

The Bridge Church is located on Corunna Road for me information and to find a free summer meal program near you click here.
