SAGINAW, MICH-- Hundreds of people gathered at the Horizons Center in Saginaw Township for the Saginaw County Chamber June Breakfast.


During the event speakers gave updates on two large projects happening in downtown Saginaw. First Delta college shared information about their Saginaw Center that's expected to open in April of 2019.

Leaders said that about forty percent of their students come from Saginaw County. Next leaders from the SVRC Marketplace shared a video and said they will be open June 22nd.

The space will hold nearly 40 businesses. Saginaw Chamber President, Bob Vandeventer announced his retirement and wished his successor Veronica Horn good luck.
