Final four tickets punched in Michigan Women's Amateur at Saginaw CC

It was a competitive afternoon of golf at Saginaw Country Club, some of the best women's golfers in the state vying for a shot at the semifinal in the GAM Michigan Women's Amateur Championship.

Flushing's Kerrigan Parks took the top seed into match play after finishing first during the qualifying rounds earlier in the week, but her great run came to an end at the hands of Sarah White. White, who's competed in this event six times, got hot on the Back 9, beating Parks 3 & 2 to advance to the semifinals. She will take on Katelyn Chipman in the Semifinals at 8 a.m. Friday.

Two sisters from Traverse City 16 year old Anika Dy and Anci Dy competed against each other for a shot at the semifinals, Anika beating her younger sister Anci 2 & 1. Anika will take on Aya Johnson in the semifinals at 8:15 a.m. Friday morning.

The winners of the semifinals will compete on Friday afternoon for the championship.
